Resene Peanut

Resene Peanut

Balloons over Waikato Trust are delighted to introduce our first Special Shape confirmed for Balloons over Waikato 2016, brought to New Zealand by Resene.

Resene is going Elefantastic with colour, as Pea-Nut the Elephant trumpets into the skies at Balloons over Waikato 2016.

Resenes Elefantastic Pea-nut the Elephant is 30 metres tall, with a 15 metre long trunk and ears that are 8 metres tall by 6 metres wide. She is 10 times the height of a live elephant, yet she weighs only 200kg, in comparison to a live elephant weighing in around 5000 kgs! Pea-nut was born in 2012 in Brazil, and now resides in Pennsylvania, USA, piloted by a 35 year flying veteran Tony Saxton.

Resene’s Karen Warman says, ““it’s always a treat to see the huge variety of special shape balloons that have been created worldwide and to be able to help the Balloons over Waikato team choose one for the festival so we can all see it for ourselves. Picking favourites is tricky, but Elefantastic Pea-Nut was impossible to go past.

And in a happy coincidence she’s very on trend paint color wise too.

Resenes Pea-Nut is Elefantastic and will be loved by kids of all ages… she cannot wait to make friends with some kiwis at Balloons over Waikato.

Make sure you see Resenes Elefantastic Pea-Nut, at Balloons over Waikato, 16th
