Please note that there are a number of sites that give details of how to make hot air balloons. Please be aware of the possibility of potential problems caused with launching such balloons. Advice must be sought from the Air Traffic Control Tower prior to any such activity as larger homemade balloons have caused problems in the past. Consideration should be given to possible fire hazard as well and it is suggested experimental balloons be tethered only in a controlled area.
